Tanah LotThe French call the
Tanah Lot the ‘Mont Saint Michel of Bali’. This is true for all the following
reasons: a temple in the sea, on a rock, merchants of the temple on an
astronomical scale, excessive traffic jams to reach it, and above all to leave
it after the sunset. But like Mont Saint Michel everyone turns up because it’s
so beautiful.
